Consumer Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled by the customer at any point prior to dispatch through their account or via emailing abucares@abuniverse.com for a full refund.

Consumers within the EU have a statutory 'Right of Withdrawal' whereby they may return their order for a refund having notified us within 14 days of receipt of the order that they wish to exercise this right by emailing us at abucares@abuniverse.com or creating a support ticket at www.abucares.com .

  • The order must be returned to us within 14 days of having notified us that the customer is exercising this right, if the items are not received in this timeframe then we reserve the right to decline any refund request
  • Consumers are responsible for the costs of returning unwanted goods. You may request that we arrange carriage of goods for return (including requesting carriers return orders in transit to us), you are responsible for any associated costs which will be notified to you to accept prior to return being arrange.
  • Any refund due shall only be made following receipt of unwanted goods which remain sealed and suitable for sale. 
  • Any refund of original shipping costs will not reflect any shipping enhancements- it will equate to the cheapest shipping option that was available at the time of order. 

Exclusion or Early Termination of the Right of Withdrawal

  • The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery. In short, opened packs of diapers are exempt from the right of withdrawal and are not accepted for return.
  • Faulty items

    The above does not apply in instances where we have supplied faulty items, in this case please contact us by emailing us at abucares@abuniverse.com or creating a support ticket at www.abucares.com to allow us to investigate. Where faulty items need to be returned the cost of this is our responsibility. Faulty items should be notified to us within 12 months of receipt, details of product batches, photographs of defects and proof of purchase is required. Claims raised more than 12 months after receipt or where the required evidence is not available are managed at our discretion.
